Early Saturday morning, at around 12:00 am, police responded to a hit & run, where a driver fled after causing an accident, an act clearly punishable by law.
After a brief search, the driver was located near his home in Papilon. Observing his behavior, police decided to test the driver’s alcohol levels, confirming their suspicion that he was under the influence of alcohol, which worsened his situation.
Apart from the arrest process, he began arguing with his partner, further adding tension during his detention. This driver was transported to the police station, where he was presented to a prosecutor. He will now have to be accountable for his traffic violations and reckless behavior.
