Dog attacks pedestrian in Dakota

On Tuesday afternoon at around 5:30 pm, an ambulance arrived at Maracastraat for a case where a dog attacked a pedestrian. This is on the street parallel to Watty Vos Boulevard.

The paramedics immediately sprang into action to provide the victim with medical attention. The victim was stabilized on-site and then taken to the hospital to receive more advanced medical care.

On the scene, a conversation was held with a relative of the victim. They recounted that a little earlier, they had been talking in the yard and were thinking of going to the church for a while. Not long after, a friend of the victim passed by the house and invited them to take a stroll in the neighborhood. As they turned the corner, a dog came out and attacked them, biting the victim on the hands and feet.

The police were also notified of this situation, and the officers on duty will pass the case to the neighborhood police, who will have to figure out who the dog belongs to. As soon as the owner of the dog is identified, a fine will be issued.
