On Wednesday night, information came in regarding a reported shooting in Madiki. When the police arrived, however, it turned out to be a mistaken report.
The initial report indicated that a 17-year-old had been shot. The shot was supposedly heard in the neighborhood, for which an ambulance was also rushed to the scene. When the authorities went to the address to check if anyone was injured, they did not find any shooting victim.
Different authorities asked questions, and no shooting victim arrived at the hospital either. Another unit also went to Madiki Kavel to see if the shooting incident could have occurred there, but there they also found no evidence of a shooting.
After analyzing the situation thoroughly, it was concluded that it must have been a false alarm.
