Initial reports received on Friday night stated that a robbery was taking place at the Citgo in San Nicolas.
According to witnesses at the scene, two individuals dressed in hoodies and with their faces covered, arrived at the gas station, CITGO San Nicolas, right across the street from the Police Station. These two individuals demanded all the money in the register.
The employee fought back against one of the robbers, while the other shouted: “shoot him, shoot him”. Nevertheless, the employee fought back against the robbers, scaring them off.
In the end, they didn’t manage to steal any money. The police arrived to gather all the information. The employee had only been on the job for a week.
The robbers fled on a scooter, and it didn’t take long for the police to spot a scooter and signal it to stop. The suspected thieves refused, and eventually, the police lost sight of this scooter.
