PM Wever-Croes: Jan de Ruijter accusations are false, and he is an exploiter

According to Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, her son, who is being accused by Jan de Ruijter for doing business in the underworld with blessings from the Government, started a case in court to ask for rectification and apology for the accusations made against him.

The political leader was in a radio program LIVE with host Hans Geerman at Top FM. During the program, she talked with Hans about different topics, including the declarations made last week by de Ruijter and Michael Williams to 24ora.com.

After they fired Marisol Lopez-Tromp, she received attacks from all sides, and many times low ones. “I feel sorry for Jan de Ruijter, but he made false accusations against my son, not against me, and based on lies.”

She emphasized that she entered politics to serve the country, not for the personal interest of anyone. And will not accept for citizens to attack her family in this manner. “I find this a cowardly act.” I am the politician. You want to have a debate with me, do so, but leave my family out of it. Do not attack my family because it only shows how weak you are.”

During the entire declaration, de Ruijter did not accuse the political leader of anything nor had any proof against her, making it hard for her to take him to court. But her son hired a lawyer and are starting a case to take to court because the accusations made could ruin his career.

The political leader did mention that they are exploring the possibilities of Medicinal Cannabis as an economic pillar. A topic being talked about by everyone. Anyone can talk about whatever topic they want, but to make accusations that corruption is taking place and without proof, that is going too far. “None of my children are working for me, and they cannot talk in my name. About cannabis, that is not in my hands, but of Dangui Oduber and Xiomara Maduro. Nor my son nor I have the authority to make decisions on who gets a piece of land. I’ve barely been in charge of this department for a week. Furthermore, the granting of land is in the hand of DIP’S director. Ministers do not have the authority anymore. What Jan de Ruijter said are pure lies.”

If Jan de Ruijter believes that the Government is working with a criminal organization, he must denounce this at the Public Prosecution Service. “Be a man, not a mouse,” was her message to Jan de Ruijter in the radio program of Hans Geerman at Top FM.
