Police units can be seen all over the island due to the traffic controls taking place. In San Nicolas, around 8:45 am, during a traffic control, a driver in a Kia Carens was stopped and asked to show the needed documents, including a driver’s license, which he did not have. It’s a much more serious offense to drive without a license.
This control took place in Caya Louise De Colignystraat in San Nicolas (behind Springfield Supermarket). They followed procedures and asked him to get out of the vehicle. They arrested him and took him to the police station.
