Security remains in custody for threatening

The prosecutor considers the accusation against the public servant, Sergio van der Biezen, who works at the Department of Security (CEA) very seriously. He will remain in custody.

It was last Friday around 7.30 pm that he threatened his employee. Sergio van der Biezen owns a construction company, Serald Construction & Services. On that night, one of his workers was passing by Wing Hung Bar & Restaurant when he saw his boss’ car. It appears that van der Biezen owes this man two weeks’ worth of pay valued at 2500 florins plus 650 florins he had lent to his boss. So he decided to confront his boss and ask for his money.

Sergio van der Biezen gave him 300 florins plus a $20 bill, which was all he had. The employee kept insisting on the total amount because he has debts to pay.

They went outside, and this is where things got out of hands. Van der Biezen started threatening and intimidating his employee with a gun he had hidden in his car. Coincidentally a police unit was passing by and stopped to attend to the situation. When searching the car, they found the weapon used to threaten the worker.
