Thursday night, around 10.15, the police had to attend to a case of theft in Elleboogstraat. A woman went outside and noticed that someone had broken into her car and took a laptop and some other things.
The police went to search the area and approached a group of addicts. When asked if they had seen who had stolen from the car, they all pointed to a man in the group, known as Xavier. They found the bag of the lady in a trash can.
Xavier was arrested and transported to the police station.
