Minister Dangui Oduber: Will continue investing in health care

This year IMSan commemorated their 100th patient who finished their radiotherapy treatment. Minister Dangui Oduber, who was present on this occasion, shared a clear vision and administration.

The vision aims to improve care, quality, and service and ensure that patients could be treated in Aruba as much as possible. Therefore 60 million florins were invested in the project of expansion and renovation of IMSan. They invested in the center for radiotherapy so patients wouldn’t have to go abroad anymore. They now have the best equipment and doctors to treat our patients, and it is something that Aruba should be proud of it.

The Government always believed in developing San Nicolas and IMSan. Funds were allocated to make the necessary investments for 12 rooms so patients could overnight at IMSan.

Starting April 22, when the projects of additional rooms will be finalized, IMSan could perform operations, and the patients could stay there. This will provide the island with more rooms and more capacity to provide care, which is necessary and essential.

Despite the crisis and the pandemic, the Government continued investing in health care to provide our people with better service and care. The Government wants to congratulate Dr. Rajnherc and the entire staff and personnel of IMSan for the commitment to medical care and IMSan. Minister Oduber is satisfied will all the positive changes.
