SEPPA: It’s still a difficult sutuation for the workers

SEPPA’S General Secretary, Magaly Brito, explained that the meeting they had with the Government was to receive more clarity on the Netherlands’ agreement. After analyzing the documents of the “Landspakket,” there were still some questions that needed more clarification.

The Government did not have an answer for all of SEPPA’s worries. Hopefully, they could receive this soon to have more clarity on their position as public workers.

SEPPA believes that it cannot analyze the pandemic based on only numbers and economic factors but must also consider the social effects.

Another topic they discussed was the salary cut of 12.6%, which the Government has decided would remain until “further notice.” Because we must wait and see how the situation of the country will continue developing.
