The amount of cases of domestic violence is very alarming in Aruba. Although it’s hard to find the exact numbers, the number of stories that can be read in the press indicates the situation. Sunday, police had to go to Piedra Plat to attend to a case of domestic violence.
When they arrived, they found a woman crying because apparently, her partner mistreated her. The man was arrested and taken to the police station.
