Today the Department of Public Health (DVG) informed that 9 people recovered from Covid-19, but 17 new cases were registered, of which 5 were non-resident. A total of 520 tests were taken between the laboratory at the Hospital, the airport, and the private lab. The local ‘positivity rate’ for yesterday was 8%.
There are 171 active cases today, while the number of deaths related to Covid-19 remains at 47. The hospital informed that 9 people are hospitalized, of which nobody is in ICU. All nine are in isolation in the General Ward.
It is important to mention that although the number of active cases seems high to the community, at this moment, the hospital has the capacity to provide care to those who need it.
But now is not the time to stop being careful, and everyone needs to continue complying with the rules so that the number of cases could remain manageable.
