Two monumental buildings will be renovated under the supervision of Monumentenbureau at the beginning of 2021.
Friday afternoon, Minister Maduro, the Prime Minister, and Minister Oduber signed the necessary agreements to start the two monumental buildings’ renovation process. The two buildings are DVG (Department of Public Health) and DRH (Department of Human Resources).
DVG building
Together with Minister Oduber, Minister Maduro signed with the contractor Albo Aruba NV. They will be in charge of the renovation of the building of DVG. The project will begin on January 26, 2021, and will finalize on June 25, 2021. The renovation will cost 466 thousand florins. Minister Maduro is happy that this project will preserve the monument and offer the workers a better workspace.
DRH building
Together with the Prime Minister, Minister Maduro signed with contractor S&L General Contractor NV that will be in charge of the renovation of the building of DRH in Eagle. This building was the main office of the refinery Arend Petroleum Maatschappij, better known as the refinery of Eagle, which started its operations in 1928. This project will cost 750 thousand florins, and work will begin on January 18, 2021, and they are planned to finalize it on July 16, 2021.
