Just before noon, the police were notified about three suspicious persons in the area of Commandeursbaai. They were probably undocumented people who arrived in Aruba from Venezuela because they spoke Spanish.
Police had a search operation going on in the area of Undesa field, and even the helicopter was flying around searching for these three men. This area is close to the Marine Corps in Savaneta.
In the area of the cemetery in Savaneta, police met an undocumented Spanish man. They arrested him and transported him to Warda Nos Costa for further investigation.
Information 24ora received indicated that during the wee hours of the morning, a boat reached land. Police searched during those hours but did not find anyone suspicious. Apparently, there were also drugs on the boat.
The man they arrested was wet and was wearing slippers and had only a blue plastic bag which contained his belongings.
