From the outside, the world of drugs seems easy. But for those living in it, they feel like they are in a tunnel with no way out.
This is one of the cases that FADA will be presenting this week in a series of documents about real-life stories. A 28-year-old man, who wanted to stay anonymous, shared his story. At just 12 years of age, he started using drugs, and today, sixteen years later, he still uses them. The tunnel is easy to enter but difficult to get out of.
This life is not easy, he said. He could steal 1 of 5 florins, and an addict will spend it on drugs. “It’s not easy, not even if you believe in God. You could see it as a game, but when the devil catches you, he won’t let you go,” the addict said.
This story could be seen this Thursday here on 24ora.com, produced by FADA.
