After a few days of seeing a decrease in the number of new positive cases, 55, 30, and 16, DVG and Crisis Team announced today 72 new positive Covid-19 cases.
According to the summary 36 people recovered, and of the 72 new cases, 70 are residents, and 2 are non-residents. 610 tests were taken at different locations around the island. And the positivity rate is 23%.
There 512 active cases, and the number of Covid-19 related deaths remains at 52.
The hospital informed that 31 people are hospitalized, of which 10 are in Intensive Care and 21 are isolated on the general ward. Also, the number of people hospitalized has increased compared to yesterday’s 25.
