The Minister of Public Health announced that the delegation from the Netherlands approved Aruba’s vaccination plan. Minister Dangui Oduber and the entire Ministery of Public Health, together with DVG, BRA, DOW, have been planning since last year for Aruba to receive the vaccines. For many weeks Aruba has been working on the strategy and the execution plan for the vaccines. It’s an extensive plan and was made using all necessary information and innovation.
As was mentioned, RIVM was in Aruba these last two days and made all necessary controls. RIVM received an extensive presentation about the plans and then received and controlled the cold chain. They also visited the locations where the vaccination will take place.
Minister Oduber is delighted with the reaction of RIVM. They are impressed by how Aruba has prepared for the vaccination against Covid-19. This is very important for the community’s health, especially for the recovery of tourism y the economic recovery for Aruba to go back to normal.
