During the Aruba Chamber of Commerce’s press conference, an interesting point was mentioned. During the pandemic, a large number of new companies were registered.
The chairman, Omar Tromp, said that going through the list, the new companies registered are of the same nature as the previous year. Usually, about 500 new companies register per year, but to their surprise, about 1000 new companies were registered. “We are trying to find out the reasons for this,” Tromp said.
