After 2:00 am on Saturday, a member of the press encountered a car at the side of the road in Noord. The door was wide open, causing danger to other motorists on the road. The police were notified, and a patrol arrived quickly at the location.
The driver was still asleep in the car by the time police arrived. They woke him up and arrested him. He was taken to the police station, where he would be staying the night to recover and explain why he was on the road during the curfew.
