EPB and SNBA signed an agreement

Educacion Profesional Basico (EPB) and San Nicolas Business Association (SNBA) signed a cooperation agreement that will benefit this school’s students with their preparations to join the job market.

During the ceremony, the director of EPB, Rensley Mathilda, and the president of SNBA Andres Hernandez was present. Also, a student from each sector represented the students of EPB. “You are the foundation to continue developing the area of San Nicolas,” the director expressed during the ceremony.

It is challenging for students in their last year of school to find an internship. This is where SNBA comes in. But outside of Aruba are companies interested in welcoming teenagers willing to learn the different areas of the job market before finishing their studies.

Hernandez mentioned the big project in development, Secrets of Baby Beach, where an agreement has already been made that 6% to 7% of the personnel will be students of EPB. “I see a bright future before me,” Hernandez said.

Diane Lejuez-de Cuba, of Stichting EPB, said that “these moments are one of the favorites. Signing this agreement, both parties commit themselves to help form the future generation of professionals. There are only winners with this agreement, especially the students. They will receive opportunities to intern and find out what will be waiting for them once they join the job market. It will open doors for the future of the students. I am pleased with this agreement.”
