Wednesday and Thursday night, San Nicolas police showed up at different areas in San Nicolas. This was done to make sure everyone is complying with the rules established by DVG.
Thursday around 10:00 pm, they started driving around because they received many calls about private parties being held and establishments that are not complying with the closing times. During the first part of their control, they were checking for the agglomeration of people.
They drove through Rembrandtstraat, Sint Maartenstraat, then passed by Subway Cura Cabai and other public places.
They used patrol cars, and transportation vehicles incase they met somehow who would not follow public order. At different places, they encountered large groups of people who were ordered to leave the site. They were reminded that it is not allowed to hang out in parking lots nor beaches.
The night ended without any arrest.
