The police were called to the FCCA residence in south Cura Cabay this afternoon for a concerning case in which children were left at home alone.
During the regular check of the residents living in one of the homes provided by FCCA, workers encountered children at home alone. This occurred at around 9:30 am at the Cura Cabay residence in Savaneta. We are unable to say whether this case concerns two or more children, but the worker notified the police as soon as they noticed that nobody else was home.
When the police arrived, they contacted the mother in order to allow her to explain what happened. Sources say that this mother leaving her children at home alone without taking the consequences into consideration is a frequent occurrence.
