According to the daily update from Aruba’s Public Health Department (DVG), the total number of people who have recuperated is 49. Additionally, there are 69 new cases of COVID-19, of which 7 are non-residents. The total number of tests performed at the various locations, namely the hospital lab, private labs, and the airport test is 545.
The positivity rate among residents is 25%. As of today, there are 327 active cases and the number of deaths related to COVID-19 raised to 81. Our condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives.
The hospital has informed us that of the 29 people they are treating, 11 are in the Intensive Care and 18 are in the general internal COVID-19 unit.
