Aruba has surpassed 600 active Coronavirus cases

According to Aruba’s Public Health Department (DVG), the total number of people who have recuperated is 37. There are 88 new cases of COVID-19, of which 4 are non-residents.

The total number of tests performed at the various locations, namely the hospital lab, private labs, and the airport test is 852.

The positivity rate among residents is 25%. As of today, there are 618 active cases and the number of deaths related to COVID-19 is 82. The hospital has informed us that of the 40 people they have hospitalized, 13 of which are in the Intensive Care and 27 are in the general internal COVID-19 unit.

Curaçao only has 224 new positive cases today, bringing the island’s total active cases to 1642. Bonaire currently has 446 active cases. The flamingo island has 9 patients has hospitalized 9 patients today, Curaçao hospitalized 4, and Aruba hospitalized 1 new patient today.
