The number of positive cases was steadily dropping, today, however, it is back up again. According to Aruba’s Public Health Department (DVG), the total number of people who have recuperated is 29, and there are 60 new cases of COVID-19, of which 10 are non-residents.
The total number of tests performed at the various locations, namely the hospital lab, private labs, and the airport test is 862. The positivity rate among residents is 24%.
As of today, there are 704 active cases and the number of deaths related to COVID-19 is 86.
The hospital has informed us that of the 42 people they are treating, 11 are in the Intensive Care and 31 are in the general internal COVID-19 unit.
