Starting Tuesday: vaccinated residents no longer need to do a PCR test

As was previously announced, starting this coming Tuesday, on the 1st of June 2021, residential passengers are exonerated from having to do a PCR test when entering our island again after having been abroad. It is important to note that it only applies to passengers who meet the three requisites set by those in charge of managing COVID-19 matters on the island, namely the Public Health Department and the Crisis Team.

The requisites are:

·         You must be a resident of Aruba

·         You must be registered at AZV

·         You must be vaccinated on Aruba and have a vaccination certificate more than 14 days before traveling back to Aruba

Passengers who wish to make use of this possibility must indicate this when registering via the online ED card system (https://edcardaruba.aw).

This digital system has to be filled in within 72 hours before your return to Aruba. We remind these passengers to have their vaccination certificate ready via the Aruba Health App as well as a physical copy as a backup when arriving back to Aruba.
