Sunday night at around 10:15 pm, the police, as well as an ambulance, arrived at the intersection between ‘Milo Croes’ Avenue and ‘Stadionweg’. Here, a Kia Sportage and a white pick-up were involved in an accident.
The police took both party’s statements at the scene. Apparently, the Sportage was headed in the direction of the airport whilst the pick-up was coming from ‘Stadionweg’. The driver of the pick-up decided to merge onto the main road right when the Kia was passing, which led to an unavoidable collision between the two cars.
While the police were making their reports, the paramedics arrived at the scene to perform a medical inspection on the driver of the Sportage. Both cars suffered significant damages.
