Saturday night at around 10:10 pm, an assault took place near Hooiberg. A man assaulted his partner, severely injuring her. The man attacked her, shoved her, and pushed her through a window.
Upon arrival, the police arrested the man for his violent behavior. Despite having just received a beating from her partner, the woman did not wish to press charges against her attacker.
The victim support team was called to come tend to the victim while the man will be spending the rest of the night behind bars.
