Various police patrol units rushed to Bushiri for a fight involving machetes. One person was reportedly hit and threatened by three others, but when the police arrived at the scene, they did not encounter anyone.
The police started searching the area while eyewitnesses stated that they saw the victim walking in the direction of Fantastic Gardens. Both the Playa police patrol as well as one from Noord searched around many roads in search of the suspects.
This all occurred at around 1:30 pm when the police were called to tend to an aggressive fight breaking out. A description of the suspects was provided and in the blink of an eye, the police encountered them in a housing complex located in Bushiri.
They were detained immediately. It should be mentioned that the suspects in question are three young men who threatened the victim with a machete, a brick, and a knife in hand. There is no news on whether the victim was seriously injured, as he had already abandoned the scene by the time the police arrived in an attempt to get away from his three aggressors.
