This morning a serious accident occurred on the main road in Savaneta, with fatal consequences. One person lost their life and various others were injured during the crash.
This accident took place at around 11:00 am at the intersection just beyond La Granja in Savaneta. The accident involved a silver Kia Rio and a brown Nissan Cube and involved various people.
The police and ambulances rushed to the scene and closed off the road immediately, which shows how serious the situation was from the start. It was immediately apparent that one or more people had been gravely injured as you could see multiple ambulances at the scene with paramedics tending to all the victims. After tirelessly working on one, their efforts were futile and a cloth was draped over the victim. This is the fifth traffic-related death for this year.
