Intervention at Dimas: Glenbert Croes will keep intervening until service is optimal

At the Department of Dimas, there is a lot of backlog relating to permits waiting for review since July. Many people have heard about the Lopez case and feel as though favoritism was in play. The Minister of Integration, Labor, and Energy reacted to the question where it was asked if all petitions go through his person.

Glenbert Croes informed that he is an accessible Minister who tends to the public. He often tells DIMAS that they should consider him as an additional ‘help desk’. He asks those who cannot come to a solution with DIMAS to approach his person and demand an answer or solution. Either at DPL or other departments that fall under his leadership, his person intervenes when a client feels as though they are not receiving the rightful attention with urgency.

The Minister receives many client cases who are awaiting their permits and a final answer to decide whether or not they can visit their native country to visit family, or if they can receive treatment in Colombia for example.
