As expected, after the BES (Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba) closed their airspace to Russia, the closing of the airspace above Curacao (TNCF/Curacao FIR) followed. This airspace radius is the same for Aruba.
According to a notice to NOTAM pilots (aerial notice, a notice presented to aviation authorities to alert pilots of potential dangers on flight routes or an area which can affect a flight), due to the Ukranian crisis, all aircrafts registered in Russia and all aircrafts that are property of, fleet of, or leased by both legal and natural persons of the Russian Federation or operators with an AOC (aerial operations certificate) given by Russian Federation authorities are prohibited from entering, leaving, or flying over Curacao controlled flying zones.
