Twenty Five years ago, the first round of volunteers of the ‘Aruban Marines’, which they are now officially named, was established at the MSKSAV (Marinierskazerne Savaneta/Marine Base Savaneta).
During this 25 year period, many things have happened and last Thursday added an important step to the process. Starting April 7th, 2022, there will be a structural organization at ARUMIL
Of the 3 different units, the guard and security, infantry unit and the SVT instruction unit, all were transferred into one true unit, the infantry company.
One company with two infantry units, one unit of education, entertainment and company personnel. With this formative expansion, a new organization was formed with a new solid structure.
Based on the announcement, various persons climbed ranks and this was witnessed with great attention by the Minister of Justice and Social Affairs, Rocco Tjon. The Minister expressed his confidence and sees productive collaborations with other security associates in Aruba and the Caribbean region.
