Prime Minister: Complaints can now be submitted online at D.O.W.

During the Aruban Government press conference, the director of DOW, Marlon Croes, together with his team presented and launched a new project which will be valuable to the community of Aruba. This new service will facilitate the process of submitting complaints/petitions for the different themes the department is in charge of through an online form.

DOW is one of the government’s departments which receives many complaints through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media and through personal visits at the DOW office. However, the department did not have an optimal system to register all petitions or complaints they received. That is why a group of DOW workers came with the idea to introduce a way for citizens to this more efficiently and easier.

The form for digital complaints and petitions is accessible on the website of DOW at www.dow.aw under the section ‘formulieren’. With this system, the DOW will have a better oversight of the registered complaints and will be able to monitor the progress more efficiently. On the form, one can indicate the type of complaint/petition such as dust, street lighting, issues with water hindrances, foul odors and more. There will be room to describe the issue with more detail and the possibility of adding images of the situation.

For more information on the process and how to get to the form, visit the DOW Facebook page or the website www.dow.aw
