Police ordered a Toyota Yaris to stop on Saturday around 8:30 pm in San Nicolas near Boogard. Police are actively carrying out checks on various vehicles after the announcement by Minister Rocco Tjon regarding the operation of Iron Eagle. Police confiscated another vehicle, a black Toyota Bb at the same time. The vehicle was towed to the police station.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris was transported to the San Nicolas police station where he will face a district attorney. Many more of these police actions are expected throughout the evening. Police are even accompanied by CEA for the transport of detained persons. These controls are being carried out in all districts of Aruba, not just in San Nicolas.
