A serious accident took place at around 9:00 am on a road in Camacuri next to the Aruba Bank. Two vehicles collided head-on. The police as well as an ambulance rushed to the scene. Two people were injured in the crash, one of which appeared to be quite serious. The impact was severe.
The road was closed and traffic was redirected so as to not pass by the accident while traffic police commenced their investigation.
Because the victim’s injuries were pretty severe, more than one ambulance arrived at the scene. Neither one of the vehicles was able to continue driving after the force of this impact.
A tow truck had to arrive at the scene to remove the vehicles from the road.
