A driver was arrested after police determined they were driving under the influence of alcohol. Shortly before their arrest, the driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a container in Papilon, Santa Cruz.
The accident occurred around 12:00 pm near Papilon #11. The driver of the grey Nissan March lost control of their vehicle and collided with a container on the side of the road.
When police arrived, they immediately noticed the strong odor of alcohol and the odd behavior of the driver. To eliminate any doubt, police conducted an alco-sensor test which confirmed their suspicions.
The driver was immediately arrested and their vehicle confiscated. They were brought to the police station where the arrest process will be continued.
