An accident occurred on Sunday morning on the L.G. Smith Boulevard. A driver of a white Rav4 headed North collided with a vehicle belonging to the Guarda nos Costa. The driver did not notice that the Guarda nos Costa pick-up had its turn signals on to turn into the West Deck.
Police at the scene conducted an alcohol-sensor test on the driver of the Rav4 who blew a level of 300 ug/l. The legal limit is 225 ug/l. The driver was arrested and transported to the police station where he must stand in front of an assistant prosecutor.
