Impact Taekwondo returned from Costa Rica with good results

The two Impact Taekwondo athletes who formed a part of the four total athletes who participated in the Pan Am Series II for Cadet & Junior, together with their coach, returned from Costa Rica. Their family was awaiting them at the airport.

Monica Pimentel,  Impact Taekwondo coach, shared that she is very pleased with the performances in Costa Rica. Kianna Krozendijk got the bronze medal in the Pan Am Open, while Anabella Fernandez  won a bronze medal in the Pan Am Series II for Cadet as well as another bronze medal in the Pan Am Open.

The preparations for this competition started some months ago, when they started implementing double sessions. Pimentel is pleased and proud that her pupils gave it 100%. “Not everything is easy, there will always be ups and downs, but even so, we continued working hard for our goal”, she said.

Two Impact Taekwondo students went to Costa Rica, along with Joshua Klaber, who also represented Aruba in the pre-selection in  Aruba Taekwondo. The goal is to always come back with results for Aruba. Impact Taekwondo’s goal is to prepare the children for when they go abroad. If they wish to compete, to give them the chance and the opportunity  to experience not only getting a medal, but flying abroad and exchanging cultures, which is usually a new experience for them.
