During the morning hours, a police unit patrolling the streets encountered a car headed for Playa on the road in Tanki Flip. The police immediately noticed that the car was swerving back and forth in a somewhat zig zag pattern. At first, the police suspected that the man was using his phone behind the wheel. It turns out, however, that he was very intoxicated. They stopped the vehicle and noticed that he even had a bottle of beer inside the car.
They asked the man if he had had anything to drink, to which he replied no almost immediately. But the police could not ignore the stench of alcohol on his breath, so they made him take a breathalyzer test. He scored very high, and even had to have his license taken away on the spot. The police detained the man and transported him to the police station. The driver later even commended the police on their good work. The man is a known chef and has now had his license suspended. He will have to hitch a ride to work until further notice.
