Patrizia’s of New York opens its doors

Monday was the grand opening of Patrizia’s of NYC, which is an Italian restaurant with a unique concept and authentic Italian flavors.

Giacomo Alaio, owner of Patrizia’s of NYC started by explaining that this is the first Patrizia restaurant opened in The Bronx in 1991, and afterward, more restaurants followed in various states in America. Alaio went on to say that he has been a loyal visitor of the island for the last 30 years and that he considers Aruba to be his second home.

The moment he saw the former Tony Roma’s building, he knew all the potential it held and he saw it as an opportunity to try and bring the concept of Patrizia to the island. He is pleased to open the first Patrizia outside of the United States and hopes to bring a little Italian flair to the island.

Additionally, Alaio explained that they serve food native to Italy, in this case, Napolitano. They are returning to the traditional system of what it was like cooking in the 1980s. The chef, Francesco Russo, has more than 40 years of experience working in the restaurant industry and has come to bless Aruba with the authentic Italian taste that Aruba is lacking. Patrizia’s of NYC is open from 4:00 pm till 11:30 pm.

Giacomo Alaio extends a warm welcome and cordial invitation to the entire Aruban population. Come and enjoy delicious authentic Italian cuisine. He welcomes one and all!

Patrizia cannot wait to delight the Aruban public with their decadent flavors that are a mix of the north and south of Napoles. The public can expect a neverending selection of native Neapolitan dishes, prepared fresh just for them.

Come try these delicious dishes prepared with love by the professional Chef Francesco Russo.
