Important safety warning Heineken bottle with screw cap

Heineken and Romar Trading N.V. warn about the safety of the 25cl. bottle with a screw cap. It concerns the small bottle without a deposit but with a screw cap for Heineken Original Pure Malt Lager and Heineken 0.0. These products are normally not available in Aruba but are imported from the Netherlands through unofficial channels in smaller quantities without the permission of Heineken.

There is a chance that glass flakes will come off the bottom of the bottle and get into the product. It concerns only the 25cl. bottle with the production codes below, which is stated on the back of the bottle. These Heineken 25cl. bottles have been sold to consumers by supermarkets, wholesalers, liquor stores and web shops in the Netherlands.

“Safety and quality are always our top priority, and we carry out quality checks very regularly. That is why we deeply regret that these products are available in Aruba and do not meet our high-quality standards. That is why we have published this statement to create consumer and customer awareness. We apologize for the possible inconvenience,” states Auke Vriens, Area Export Manager Heineken Americas.

Heineken and Romar Trading N.V. confirm that the quality of the Heineken 25cl Pure Malt Pilsener bottle and Heineken 0.0 without the screw cap and officially imported and distributed by Romar Trading N.V. have no quality issues.

End-consumers are requested not to drink the Heineken screw cap bottles with Pure Malt Lager label with these specific production codes and to bring these bottles to the local official distributor, Romar Trading N.V. at the address below. End-consumers will be compensated for the amount of product in the product imported by Heineken and Romar Trading N.V. End-consumers have unlimited time to return the product.
