Friday night just past 8:30 pm, the police see a gold Chevrolet driving badly on the road. Immediately they suspect the man behind the wheel to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Witnesses stated that they saw the vehicle swerving badly near the Las America’s roundabout. He was reportedly swerving on and off the sidewalk and even almost drove straight into oncoming traffic.
They stopped the car right away near the Arubus station on L.G. Smith Boulevard and made him blow. The machine was not even able to read a level because the man was simply too intoxicated and was therefore unable to blow properly. The police, therefore, saw it fit to detain the man right then and there. He was transported to the police station where they will continue his detention process.
