An accident occured on the road to Matividiri on Tuesday evening around 6:00 pm. To be exact, the accident occurred near the intersection to Natural Bridge. At the scene, it was reported that a group of tourists were on a tour around the island.
For some unknown reason, one of the tourists crashed against the stone fence alongside the road. Paramedics were called to the scene to offer medical assistance to the injured tourist. The female tourist was later transported to the hospital after sustaining potential injuries to her torso.
Traffic police blocked the area off to conduct their investigation into the cause of the accident.
