Eagle LNG: Questions are different now that more details have emerged

The information session organized by Eagle LNG was interesting as it primarily focused on describing the project to the community, gathering the first reactions, and to take this into consideration in the next steps of the design which related to the environmental and social aspects.

The most recent session was used to present the preliminary findings, which also benefit the advancement of the design and more specifically the issue surrounding the use of tubes in the area of Savaneta. At first, this information was unclear, as there was no concrete answer to the questions of where the tubes would be placed. Now that the project has developed more, the engineering company has revealed the routing of the tubes as well as the fact that these are safe. As a result, the questions from the audience were more focused and on a conversation level in which there was less speculation and more about the design of the project.

I think the primary concern relates to the fact that the tubes run above ground. It is important to note that they are designed to high standards that are implemented even in American cities and worldwide; nothing is being done incorrectly. Other questions, according to Bastardo, were related to the Refinery of Aruba (RDA) and the international codes and standards that many people were happy to hear that are being adhered to.
