During that period, Café the Plaza at the Renaissance Marketplace was founded by two Dutch adventurers, Harry Koemans and the late Hans Nooter. The concept of a Dutch Case was an instant success and the amount of events at the Café the Plaza became an island-wide hit: Events such as ‘paalzitten’ Eurocup and Copa Mundial di Futbol, ‘haringhappen’ and many more. On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Café the Plaza celebrates its 31st anniversary. To celebrate the special occasion, all invitees will receive 31% discount on ALL food options and drinks during the entire day! There will also be an anniversary cake to the loyal visitors.
