Christmas is just around the corner and many people rushed to Caya Grandi to get their last-minute shopping done. People are happy that they are able to drive through Caya grandi once more, which could be noted by how busy it is this afternoon.
Ligia Barrido finds Caya Grandi to be very beautiful and is so pleased that it has re-opened. She believes this is what has led to many people returning to do their shopping there. The Government’s idea to open the streets once again was a very well received idea, and she believes it is why the streets are flooded with people.
Prasser is a cruise passenger from Germany. She will be on the ship for two weeks, which includes Christmas and New Years. She finds this to be an excellent experience as they are visiting new places daily. This is the first time that Prasser is visiting Aruba and she finds it fabulous, and thinks it is unfortunate that she will not be able to see more of the stunning little island. All the more reason to return. Being on a cruise ship is a good way to get a feel for the destinations and determine whether or not they would wish to return one day.
Another person who was doing their Christmas shopping expressed that opening up Caya Grandi for traffic was a sublime idea. This is what allowed it to come back to life.
Mariska believes that it is good that Caya Grandi is open once again, as it had been closed for many years. She states that while there is more movement than usual, Caya Grandi is still not back to what it used to be back in its heyday.
