On Monday evening the coach of Aruba Taekwondo Team, Monica Pimentel, met with parents of the athletes that were competing in the 2023 championships.
Pimentel started the meeting by expressing her gratitutde to all parents for they confidence and trust in her as the coach for their children at Impact Taekwondo. During the meeting, Pimentel presented the list of activites they have planned for 2023 which is a year full of back-to-back competitions.
Various parents agreed to let their children join Taekwondo Team Aruba to which Pimentel explained that it is not just a group of kids, but rather a brand as a whole that is exclusive to the most disciplined and those with love for the sport. The training within the team is therefore also different than regular training. Pimentel also mentioned that they have receive various international invitations which they will be attending together with Victoria Pimentel.
The athletes are projected to compete in various competitions such as; Florida Cup, Costa Rica, Las Vegas, San Luis Potosi, Korea, Serbia and Puerto Rico. To attend these matches a series of events will be organized such as raffles, car washes and more. The permits have already been requested for these events.
