On January 10th 2023, a wooden house caught fire in Lagoweg. The fire department arrived that morning to extinguish the fire but for the past two months, the burnt structure slowly became a burden to the neighbourhood and everyone passing the area.
This morning, both the police and the Bureau City Inspector came to the house to tear it down. This abandoned house posed a danger to anyone who used the road or passed by it.
This burnt down house is an eyesore for San Nicolas, especially as it is located on the main road.
