Nataly Geerman to compete in the Centralamerican and Caribbean games in San Salvador 2023

The weightlifting athlete Nataly Geerman travelled together with her coach to participate in the Centralamerican and Caribbean Championship taking place in Santo Domingo. Here, participants from 20 other countries were also present for this competition as it was their last opportunity to qualify for the games in San Salvador. This competition took place at the Pabellon de Halterofilia Dr. Jose Joaquin Puello in Parque del Este.

Nataly was well prepared by her coach Paul Lara to compete against the other nine athletes in her category of 76kg.

Nataly managed to snatch 90 kg, breaking her own national record by 2 kg, and placing her 6th. In the clean & jerk, she lifted 121 kg and a total of 211 kg. With this she yet again surpassed her own national record by 5 kg. With this total, Nataly placed 7th and managed to qualify for the games in San Salvador 2023.
